My name is Michelle and I am a 47 year old married professional woman living in Santa Cruz, CA. (I call it woo-ville). Have been a Christian, a Scientologist (was in the "inner sanctum"), a Reiki master, etc. You get the picture. I began transforming about 7 years ago when I read Douglas Adams' Salmon of Doubt. In it, he suggests reading Dawkins, which I did. In 2007 my husband bought me an iPod. I discovered podcasts .....Skeptoid and then SGU. I am now a fully formed skeptic and voracious listener of SGU podcast and many others. I would like to become more active and involved in this community, as I believe it's growth is important to our survival. I have purchased all of the SGU uncuts and bought "swag" and I am a paid subscriber of Skeptoid. In these small ways I hope I am contributing. I am a good writer and proofreader so I think this is a perfect way for me to help! Thank you for doing this!
