I'm a recovering evangelical Christian, a civil/environmental engineer and a Star Trek nerd. I appreciate the methodical way SGU analyses new age garbage and promotes the scientific method. Sadly having gone through the California public education system I wasn't really taught skeptical thinking -- apparently that takes funding!
